I was in charge of designing UNSW's Preference Mail Out campaign, targeting students who selected UNSW as their first or second university choice. This extensive project involved creating personalised mailers for each of the university's faculties, encompassing both first and second-choice preferences, resulting in 12 unique variations.
The challenge was to develop a slightly varied design that effectively represented the identity of each faculty while maintaining cohesion within UNSW's brand guidelines. Each mailer was crafted to engage prospective students, providing tailored information about their preferred faculties and academic offerings.
Throughout the project, I managed client expectations by collaborating closely with university stakeholders to ensure the designs aligned with their objectives and vision. Direct engagement with printers was essential to oversee production processes and meet a strict budget of under $50,000. By efficiently managing resources, we successfully printed 10,000 mailers, optimising costs while delivering everything on time.
